- Identify ways to educate Community Health Workers (CHWs) on cultural competency and exploring personal biases
- Develop methods to strengthen the professional and personal development of CHWs in their role
- Recognize techniques to cultivate a healthy mind and spirit in self and others
Call for Poster Abstracts Now Open
Spectrum Health Healthier Communities welcomes abstracts that highlight extraordinary jobs that Community Health Workers perform in their communities. Abstracts will be considered that show Community Health Workers (CHW) in innovative and effective roles in the community they serve. The committee will review and choose abstracts for the conference.
Abstracts should be brief, emphasizing clearly their relevance to CHW practice and how the information presented can be applied in a universal setting.
Limit abstract to 300 words
Abstracts should include the following:
Poster Presenters: Registration fee will be waived for only one person per poster
